With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Game Engine QA to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect. Perform all kinds of manual testing Closely assist the programming team with testing specific changes before code is submitted to the main developer branches Write new and maintain existing automated tests (Python/Pytest and Lua) Follow priorities set by the QA Lead to ensure team-wide goals are met Test and help improve our production pipelines and tools Act as the first point of contact for the production team on technical issues Responsibilities Experience in programming and/or scripting Familiarity working with game engines Background using Perforce or other version control systems Good judgment in estimating the significance and consequences of bugs A rigorous, methodical, and resourceful approach to your work Self-disciplined, with strong self-learning skills Good communication skills, spoken and written, in English Passion for video games Desire to build a long-term career in QA Requirements Prior experience in QA is a big plus Knowledge of JIRA and Jenkins Familiarity with the RPG genre Nice To Haves An international team of over 600 employees spread across 7 studios around the world, each of which have their own unique qualities, and maintain a small-studio feel An open, collaborative environment where ideas are welcome and encouraged A managerial team consisting of highly experienced game developers at the top of their fields Sharing hobbies and passions with like-minded colleagues Inclusive environment with many activities organized by the studios or the employees Commitment to making the best game possible for the fans, including listening to community feedback What We Offer
