DevOps Build Engineer

With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a DevOps Build Engineer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect. Design, develop, and maintain robust build pipelines for each platform Monitor and continuously improve our automated build and CI systems Partner with IT to scale and maintain build server infrastructure Create and keep documentation of the build/release process up to date Support the release manager during patch releases Be a go-to resource for teammates when they need a hand Responsibilities 2+ years of industry experience Solid hands-on knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines Proficiency in a scripting language such as Ruby, Groovy, or Python Experience automating workflows via shell/bash/cmd on Linux and/or Windows Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Perforce, or SVN Clear communication skills, written and spoken, in English Comfortable collaborating with others and taking ownership of your work Enthusiasm for experimenting, iterating, and refining features Strong software design and problem-solving abilities Requirements Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools Familiarity automating C#/C++ builds (e.g., MSBuild, CMake) Exposure to full-stack development Background working in the games industry Nice To Haves An international team of over 600 employees spread across 7 studios around the world, each of which have their own unique qualities, and maintain a small-studio feel An open, collaborative environment where ideas are welcome and encouraged A managerial team consisting of highly experienced game developers at the top of their fields Sharing hobbies and passions with like-minded colleagues Inclusive environment with many activities organized by the studios or the employees Commitment to making the best game possible for the fans, including listening to community feedback What We Offer
